I have looked on the boards here and not seen anything like this one so I am posting it here. If it is the wrong place or there is another feel free to delete this one....

I am looking for peoples opinions on the best place for a 55 monk to farm. I would like to know where, & what you could get. Thanks!

i farm places with undead coz they take twice the damage and runs become faster...
such places are: nebo village, black curtain, cursed lands (i thinks xD)

Gates of Kryta HM is amazing for gold drops (mostly dead bows)

A couple suggestions:

Don't take Oink
Don't attempt to farm the lower area near the start with all of the spawns
In nearly all of the 4 skeleton mobs, one of the mesmers will not act until the other is dead. Don't move towards this one until it acts
It is possible with SoJ/Holy Strike to kill the warrior boss, despite his healing signet

I used to do this run a lot about 6 months ago, got an average of ~20 gold drops per run, in addition to a lot of bones, dust, and straight up gold drops

I'd suggest you DO take the group on the lower side past Oink.. lotsa mobs right at the beginning.. so you can restart even faster... or continue till the boss

should be able to do it really i think

but monk is better as they deal holy damage

Tbh there isn't a definitive list of 55/105 farming areas. I checked the solo farming sticky and the 55 Monk stuff is outdated... most of that thread is outdated, we'll need to put together a new one sometime.

Sry for maybe being a nub but which 55 build for the gates of kryta mission....cuz there's like 5 of them now i believe
